What is Pembroke Legal recruitment?

Pembroke Legal is a recruitment platform for the legal profession in Ireland. Employers can advertise legal and law firm support roles and manage applications through an employer dashboard. The firm remains responsible for assessing applicants, arranging interviews and making hiring decisions.

How do I get started?

Open the Recruitment page and choose Register your firm. Sign in with the account associated with your firm’s profile. Use the employer dashboard to post and manage vacancies. If you use more than one email account, check that you are signing in with the firm’s account rather than a different personal account.

What should I prepare before posting?

Prepare the title, practice area or relevant category, location, experience level, salary, contract type, hours and working arrangement. Write the responsibilities, requirements and benefits, and choose a closing date. Make sure the selected filters agree with the written advert. Only publish a genuine opportunity with terms your firm has approved.

How do I edit or close an advert?

Find the vacancy in the employer dashboard and select Edit advert. Make the changes and select Save changes, then check the public listing. To stop accepting applications, use Close advert and follow the confirmation step. Existing applications remain part of the recruitment record; communicate the outcome to candidates directly.

Where can I read applications and CVs?

Select View applications beside the vacancy. The applications page shows the candidate’s details, covering note and a View CV action where a CV is available. Treat CVs as confidential recruitment material and share them only with colleagues who need them for the selection process. The dashboard is the place to check the current application record.

Does changing a status email the candidate?

No. The application status dropdown updates the internal record. Selecting a status saves it automatically; you do not need a separate Save status button. Contact the candidate directly to arrange an interview or communicate an outcome. Do not assume that selecting Interview, Unsuccessful or Hired has sent a message.

What do views and application rate mean?

Where enabled, these figures help you review the response to an advert. Views are not necessarily unique people. Application rate needs a matching measurement period and should be interpreted alongside the suitability of applications. Tracking does not reconstruct views from before it was enabled. An unavailable figure is not the same as zero.

Why can’t I see my firm’s vacancies?

First check which account is signed in and whether a vacancy-status filter is applied. If the problem continues, use the site’s Contact page and describe the vacancy and account issue. Never include a password or attach candidate CVs to a general troubleshooting message.
